Register to Vote

There are three ways you can register to vote in Oregon: online, by mail, or in person. Be aware that in order to vote in an election, you must be registered to vote at least 21 days before the election is held.

To register online use the My Vote portal.

  • Oregon driver’s license, permit or ID card number issued by the Oregon Driver and Motor Vehicle Services Division (DMV)
  • If you are already registered to vote in Oregon, you can use the My Vote portal to verify or update your registration, to change political parties, or to track your ballot. If you move to a new address, update your registration immediately as ballots cannot be forwarded.
